Pikachu Takes a Tumble
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire no longer top the
GBA charts, having been toppled by Finding Nemo. Ruby and Sapphire have dropped
to second and third place respectively, while Super Mario Advance 4 enters the
chart at number four.

Pokemon Nominated for BAFTA
Game Awards

BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) has announced the nominees
for their 2003 game awards. Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire have been
nominated in 2 categories. Those 2 categories are Children's Game and GameBoy
Advance Game. Overall, Nintendo did pretty good with many different nominations.

Pokémon remakes on the
way
Game Boy Advance remakes of Pocket Monster: Red and Pocket Monster: Green are
planned.
TOKYO--Nintendo will release Game Boy
Advance remakes of Pocket Monster: Red and Pocket Monster: Green, according to
Dengeki Online.
These two titles were the first releases
in the Pokémon series, dating back to 1996. The remakes will be named Pocket
Monster: Fire Red and Pocket Monster: Leaf Green. These new GBA remakes will
allow players to trade or engage in combat with current owners of the Pokémon
Ruby and Sapphire games.
Pocket Monster: Fire Red and Pocket
Monster: Leaf Green are also scheduled to be compatible with the upcoming
Pokémon Coliseum on the GameCube, released on November 21.
